In order for me to get excited about a new project, I often need that visual stimulation that keeps me going. This leads me to the first step in the process of setting this site up. This step is "making it my own", which is essentially swapping out the logo - a pretty basic task.
For some designers out there, they can afford to take the time to do a theme from scratch and they'll use templates like Zen or Blueprint or Hunchbaque. For this site I opted for using Amadou a well respected theme from drupal developer Jay Wolf.
Starting with this theme I needed to make some basic changes and I also need to account for using the wonder Admin Menu. There are only two videos in this series so hopefully you'll get some great tips about how to start making a theme your own.
